Radio is famous for cutting off their wifi after 5pm on weekdays and never even turning it on during the weekend. They want you to be social, and with a good 20+ beer taps, plus their tapped cold brew, you'll have plenty reason to do that. Movie nights are also fun, and they have a local taco food truck sharing the same space.

If you want that taste of South Austin, TX there's no better place. Huge outdoor backyard, several beers on tap, and some cocktails. This is just a good ole spot to hang with some friends and remember what social life is.

St. Elmo is another amazing Brewery closeby to the house. It's in a new warehouse district that also includes a Winery, a distillery, and a local coffee shop.

I actually worked at this location for 5 years. One of the best jobs I ever had - The Alamo Drafthouse is an ESSENTIAL Austin experience. Watching a movie with good food, good beer, and good theater goers can't be beat. Don't forget to shut off your phone (and your voice) because you don't want to be caught being "That guy."

Watching a movie with good food, good beer, and good theater goers can't be beat. Don't forget to shut off your phone (and your voice) because you don't want to be caught being "That guy."
My second choice beyond the Drafthouse is a great Arthouse theatre in the middle of downtown Austin. Second street is my favorite place to visit because it's within walking distance of so many cool spots. Plus it's INSTAGRAM FRIENDLY. As for the theatre itself: Amazing cocktails, cooked food (not just concessions), and comfy reserved seating at no extra cost.

Get your freaking shop on. I mostly just go to H&M here, but they have EVERYTHING. Don't forget to visit Rock Rose (the new 6th street) for all the local pubs, and Punch Bowl Social if you like drinking and bowling + other activities.
