Really good Mexican food. We like the carnitas! One order is enough for two people! Not crazy about their nacho chips, but everything else is good. Don't be intimidated by the volume of cars in the front, there's plenty of parking in the back as well. The owners of Don Pepe and Dos Panza are related.

We tried the restaurant and were satisfied with our selections of fried fish/chips and beefsteak enceballado with rice and beans. It is located in the Luquillo Kiosks. We would recommend dining there early if you do not want to contend with the crowds coming off from the beach later in the day.

The rivers in Puerto Rico are just as beautiful as the beaches! Seriously! That's where the locals hang out! On a hot day, there is nothing like a fresh water river to hang out in! If you need our help to locate one, just let us know! We love the rivers!

World's longest Zip Line! Orocovis is located in the middle of the island, about 1.5 hours from La Lomita, through some beautiful mountainous countryside. This is Hector's hometown. You cannot visit Puerto Rico without visiting Old San Juan! Just wandering through the old cobblestone streets, shop if you want, or hang out in one of several plazas and listen to live music, there is plenty to see and do down there, and it's only 25 minutes from La Lomita. The city is safe and well monitored by law enforcement in the evenings and is especially fun on the weekends.
