The most famous ghat and every evening there is a huge gathering for the Ganga aarti. Better is you take a boat ride and view the aarti from the boat itself. Many interesting galis (lanes) around.

On the roof on man- mandir palace. There is a planetarium too and the view is nice. Spend some time sitting and soaking up the view from the hall.

This is where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. There is a stupa, Ashoka Pillar, deer park, lots of asian temples. You can also find tibetan restaurants in the nearby colonies.

Italian pizza and pasta dishes for a decent price. Their apple pie with ice cream is a must and nana mint is a good drink that they serve. Don't go for Indian food though, not worth it.

Good and safe North Indian food and the price is decent too. They also have a bakery upstairs that has baked snacks, cakes and pastries and the prices are reduced after 9pm, so get that discount.

This restaurant is on a terrace so you get a great view of the river. They have nice coffee and many European and Indian dishes. The prices are a bit high but the ambience in the evenings is nice.
