Almost famous regional restaurant. Also decent Portuguese dishes at a good cost. We have met people in Lisbon who named it as an example of a true good "countryside restaurant".

Very typical restaurant . The food is prepared in a fireplace in the main space. The restaurant has become very popular, it's a good idea to make a reservation to get a table in the main space

Getting Around

Bus is a much better option: more frequent and shorter travels with more convenient connections.

Two bus companies departing from here, similar good quality experience. Only their stops can be different. For example for Lisbon Rodoviaria do Oeste goes to Campo Grande Lisboa (and stops in Obidos and Bombarral but is not slower because Campo Grande is easier to reach) the other to Sete Rios (Rede Expressos). I prefer Campo Grande with Rodoviaria do Expresso because this is more central and convenient inside Lisbon.
