This is one amazing upscale Italian restaurant. Cucina 24 has all the dishes you would expect-with flair! I highly recommend the chefs menu (whatever it is that day).

Nine mile serves Caribbean dishes (think chicken/seafood with rice/pasta) and is great for vegetarians, those who are gluten free, or really anyone. When friends or family visit, this is where we take them.

This place is amazing for those with any dietary restrictions! They have a case of food you can take for a grab-and-go meal, plus super fresh sit-down menus (including breakfast). If you're looking for a healthy cafe, this is your place!

If you want to avoid the crowd downtown, stick to North Asheville ad head to Chupacabra. This is a great spot for take-out or to stay a while. Everything we have tried here has been phenomenal! Grab a local beer with your meal and head next door to the Baked Pie Company for dessert.

If you love curry, this is a great downtown place! Blue Dream has lots of dining space and is located near where the drum circle takes place Friday evenings i warm moths. Get your groove on and grab some curry and a local beer.

A former food truck turned brick and mortar; Gypsy Queen is one of our favorite take-out spots. They have limited seating but are located outside of downtown, on the west side of Asheville.

Biscuithead is definitely an Asheville favorite-and for good reason! This place makes some amazing biscuits topped with the most creative combinations, plus they have a jelly and jam bar! If you go, expect to stand in line for a bit but know that it's worth the wait! I highly recommend the Mimosa Fried Chicken Biscuit.

They make a point of using local meats and make their BBQ eastern Carolina style with a vinegar-based sauce. Try the banana pudding pie!

The guides and safety standards are top notch. Even if you feel timid at first the guides will help you feel comfortable. Navitat is one of the highest rated canopy tour companies in the world, with some of the highest, fastest, and longest zips in the south east.
