From an architectural marvel that’s also an insta sensation with an enviable amount of followers, don’t miss Azulik in Tulum. The ambience is perfect for breakfast - no reservations needed, and the morning menu is stellar. However, I’d suggest skipping dinner; it tends to be overpriced and falls short of the breakfast charm. This spot is a must- see, practically a Tulum pilgrimage you haven’t truly experienced the town without a visit. Oh, and leave the high heels at home; you’ll thank me later!

Everyone must go at least once. If you're not into the party scene, have an early dinner. The atmosphere turns "different" later into the evening. Food is on the pricier side but the portions are large. Plate sharing is recommended.

I almost want to keep this place to myself. This is the best coffee in Tulum, hands down. The place is terribly small, little to no seating inside and just a few tables outside. It has customers ALL DAY LONG. Just one cup of Joe or a pastry from this little Italian place and you will understand why. The carbon avocado croissant...I'll just stop now. Its a must visit. For easy eb & flo, arrive as the cock crows.

This little local gem is our Tulum equivalent of Whole Foods or Trader Jo's. It has the price point of Whole Foods, but without a doubt, there are things here you can't find anywhere else! In addition, they have a wonderful selection of liquor here as well as an attached restaurant. I'm not a fan of the restaurant but the store is great. No camera's allowed here. I tried it. It's hard to find quick food in Tulum, as most things are made to order, that's a good thing, yet, some times, you need things to be good & quick. Here's the solution...if you love BBQ . I highly recommend the pulled sandwiches.

So much to say about Ziggy's. The food is great, the beach beds are essentially first come first serve as long as you eat or drink, you can have one. I highly recommend El Asedero located right in town for an unforgettable dining experience. This gem is a true delight for food enthusiasts. Their great steaks are cooked to perfection, ensuring a juicy and flavorful feast that's hard to beat. If you're a seafood lover, you're in for a treat. The chicken fajitas are so moist. The drink menu is equally impressive, featuring a wide variety of cocktails, wines, and craft beers that perfectly complement your meal. And what truly sets this restaurant apart is their exceptional service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring your dining experience is top-notch. So, if you're in town and seeking a dining spot that offers great steak, seafood, sizzling fajitas, an impressive drink selection, and outstanding service, look no further than. Ferrons Jerk Chicken on Tulum's lively strip is a culinary gem with unbeatable prices. The ribs are a delight, tender enough to effortlessly fall off the bone. As for the fried chicken, it arrives piping hot and fresh – you might need to wait a few minutes before diving in. Conveniently located, it's an ideal spot for a mid-day break or a quick, satisfying meal. Owned by a Jamaican, Ferrons Jerk Chicken brings an authentic taste of the Caribbean to Tulum. Remarkably, this is the owner's third successful spot in Quintana Roo, a testament to the consistently delicious offerings that keep patrons returning. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Ferrons Jerk Chicken is a must-visit for a genuine Jamaican culinary experience right in the heart of Tulum.

This establishment, well-known for its burgers, fries, and beverages, offers a unique twist on the classic combo meal. It's akin to the familiarity of ordering at McDonald's, but with a distinctive touch. The burgers are indeed a highlight—grilled to perfection and adorned with an array of toppings that elevate the taste. Complemented by golden, crispy fries, the combination makes for a satisfying meal. The inclusion of an alcoholic beverage in the combo adds a touch of sophistication, creating an experience that stands apart. For those seeking an optimal atmosphere, the suggestion is to opt for a seat upstairs. Apart from a pleasant view, the improved airflow addresses the potential warmth experienced in the downstairs area. In summary, it's a noteworthy spot for those craving a burger-centric meal with an upgraded combo twist.

For water enthusiasts, Casa Cenote stands out as a personal favorite. Priced around $30US per person, this gem boasts three captivating cenotes, an on-site restaurant, snack spots, and souvenir shops, making it well worth the cost. Interestingly, there are over 2,000 cenotes scattered across the Yucatán – a natural wonder that I’d consider the 8th wonder of the world. If you go, please let me know your thoughts:)

The therapists at Leaf Spa are truly beyond skilled, providing a massage experience that's unparalleled. The spa's uniqueness lies in being the only one in the area with both cold and hot pools, along with a dry sauna and steam room. However, the facilities could use a modern touch. It's a mixed bag where expertise shines, but the ambiance could use a refreshing update.
