Local Political Watering Hole that is a must-visit if you're into politics and Atlanta history, this place is seeped in it. Every Democratic President has campaigned here, and you never know when you might see Stacey Abrams or Jimmy Carter at the bar sipping a beer (it's been known to happen).

I always recommend visiting the Carter Center, the museum is a wonderful legacy to the Carter Presidency, and it's a beautiful place to just walk and explore the grounds. On Saturdays, the Freedom Park Farmer's Market is hosted in the parking lot, and you can find a wide array of fresh, local produce (and often live music). Very bikeable via the Freedom Park Trail that links to the BeltLine

A hidden gem of a park in our neighborhood, you can actually access it via the backstreets (Ridgewood Road). It's a beautiful native forest with trails that you can walk or run.
