Best sushi in Lake Tahoe. During the summers there can easily be an hour plus to wait for a table but during winter, especially weekdays, should be minimal or no problem at all. Vegan options available

Locally sourced food, healthy but filling. During the summer I love sitting outside in the balcony and looking over Old Town Truckee and watching the train past through. This place also has great cocktails.

This isn’t just pasta! Make reservations and if you can’t, stop by and see if you can squeeze you in at the bar. While you wait for a seat go to The Local (dive bar a couple doors down) and grab a drink, Pianeta will call you when a spot opens up.

When you can’t get into Drunken Monkey or you’re craving Tom Yum and Pad Thai this is your place. I’ve only done pick up here (because of Covid) and they usually through a little something extra into my bag (like spring rolls).

This is the best pizza in Kings Beach (and possibly all of Tahoe). Line out the door in the summer, I recommend ordering online and picking up, or being prepared to wait for a table.

We go here often, food for the entire family served tapas or entrée style. Highly recommend the jicama tacos (vegan). They also have an incredible wine list and cocktail menu. Great for a date night or with another couple.
