Point Defiance is the best Zoo and Aquarium right at our fingertips, you can walk from our apartment and it is less than .25 of a mile, you can see it from the apartment and our rooftop deck.

One of Tacomas amazing Gems! You can go in museum but the real Gem is outside for free- as you walk over the freeway foot bridge- you’ll see some of Chihuly’s amazing work! And make sure you go all the way across to see the light shine through the ceiling covered in his “underwater” glass - interpretations- takes your breath away! And it’s free!

Located in Beautiful Gig Harbor just across Tacoma narrows bridge- there is a toll on the way back- but there is a lot to see and visit in GH- and stopping for hot chocolate, coffees and painting a unique ceramic mug, bowl, plate- whatever could be a treasured memory for years to come. Love the owners- this place has a great family vibe!
