Fun places to eat are Mellow Mushroom (pizza, subs, salads), Macado’s (sandwiches), or if you’d like healthier, homemade food try Our Daily Bread. Mast General Store is a popular stop with their Mercantile section upstairs, and their candy room downstairs.
Nearby is Stick Boy Bread Co with a great selection of breads, cookies, scones, plus smoothies and coffee. You could grab some snacks and then take the curvy road up to Howard’s Knob Park for a big view of Boone.

Tubing at sugar mountain (Winter only)
Looking for something different? Try tubing! Located on the Sugar Mountain Golf Course; the 700 ft long tubing lanes are serviced by a Magic Carpet lift. Snowmaking, lights for night tubing and regularly groomed lanes complete the facility. Sessions are just under two hours long and run from 10:00am until 10:00pm.
