Places to walk from our cottages

Walk from Flying Horse cottage and Bond's Cottage Barn into Broadwater Warren, from there you can walk through the Sussex wildlife reserve at Eridge Rocks and then on for a pub lunch at The Nevill Crest and Gun. This walk also links up with the Sussex border path which will take you to Frant or across Warren Farm to Harrison's Rocks and Groombridge and for the very intrepid walkers you can reach the Ashdown Forest from which you can take a return bus from either Crowborough or Forest Row. Alternatively walk along the country lane (Fairview lane) to High Rocks and then through Friezland wood, towards Tunbridge Wells and across the common into the town. The 29 Bus takes you back to the A26 junction with bunny lane/Broadwater forest lane and a short 5 minute walk to return to the cottages.
