Toji

Toji Temple is one of the Unesco's World Cultural Heritage. Approx. 25min walk from our guesthouse, about 15min walk from Kyoto Station. Toji's famous Pagoda is magnificent and it is one of the must-see site of Kyoto. On the 21st every month, antique market is held in Toji. You can get wide variety of interesting items from antiques (kimono, obi belt, pottery, etc) to handmade accessories and crafts. Also the smaller market is held every 1st Sunday of the month. You can enjoy the local atmosphere of Kyoto that lasts for over 800years.

Sanctuaire Fushimi Inari-taisha

Fushimi Inari Shrine is a 1,300-year-old shrine dedicated to Inari, the Shinto deity of rice and sake (Japanese rice wine). Very easy to access from our guesthouse. About 15-20min walk from our guesthouse, also you can take JR / Keihan train from Tofukuji Station which takes 5min only! The entire Inari mountain is a holy place, and takes between two to three hours to tour and hike the mountain. Don't miss walking through the shrine's red tunnel of 1,000 torii gates.

Fushimi Inari Shrine is a 1,300-year-old shrine dedicated to Inari, the Shinto deity of rice and sake (Japanese rice wine). Very easy to access from our guesthouse. About 15-20min walk from our guesthouse, also you can take JR / Keihan train from Tofukuji Station which takes 5min only! The entire Inari mountain is a holy place, and takes between two to three hours to tour and hike the mountain. Don't miss walking through the shrine's red tunnel of 1,000 torii gates.

Gion

Gion (祇園) is Kyoto's most famous geisha district, located around Shijo Avenue between Yasaka Shrine in the east and the Kamo River in the west.
