My all time favorite of my daughter, another great must see if you got family in town and want to have something different from shopping or eating out. Herman park which a great walking track and picnic place surrounds the zoo. A great day activity for the weekends.

A must see! I love this place it鈥檚 always changing and an easy trip close to the studio. If you go across the street you can also hit up the coffee shop on the top of the Glassell building which is wonderful! Then u can also go see the fine arts museum which is also across the street.

St Thomas University is a peaceful and safe area to take a walk and as you continue down further it eventually connects with the Menil Collection Museum and park.

Rice University and the running track around it is a great 5 km run or walk heavily covered with old oak trees.
While the track is a great walk it surrounds the beautiful buildings of the university. Your welcome to walk through the campus it鈥檚 very charming.
