Neighborhoods

This neighborhood is small and very residential with many local shops and restaurants either a short walk, bus ride or drive away. Many playgrounds, green space, coffee shops, and restaurants. I love how there are unique family owned businesses mixed with the larger businesses such as Target and Whole Foods. Basically everything you need is at your fingertips.

Sightseeing

Como Park Zoo is a wonderful smaller zoo. There is a suggested donation as an entrance fee. You will see gorillas, orangutans, zebras, giraffe, polar bears, seals and more! On site there is also a small amusement park in the winter. The conservatory is open all year, which can serve as a mini getaway in the middle of a Minnesota winter. The plants are absolutely beautiful and will make you feel rejuvenated.

A great place to workout! With all the equipment you need and only $3/day, you can’t get any better than that. There is also a great water park to spend the afternoon at. Two larger slides, a pool to swim laps, a diving board and a zero depth pool with fountains and smaller tides for younger kids.
