Landscaping makes Hart's Mill look like a proper landmark, I just hope it will be restored further. It's such an iconic part of Port Adelaide. Photographed it so many times. Interesting building that always catches my eye Such an awesome, modern and safe playground offering nice surrounding views and ample parking. Definitely a winner and must visit!

A lovely spot to visit at Port Adelaide. Climb the steep old spiral staircase and enjoy the great view. Take a moment to read the history and look at the historic lamp. This is a cheap enjoyable part of an outing at the Port. Well worth it. Historic place, would recommend to someone who loves places like this - make sure you bring a dollar with you to be able to climb up the lighthouse Wonderful views and they have just repaired the night lights An Important Icon of Adelaide. It was built in 1896 and was moved to several locations, until back to it's current location in 1986. The location is easy to access, with two options of public transportation: bus 118 from the city and Train (OUTHA) from Adelaide Railway Station. The surroundings is also well preserved 19th century's victorian style shophouses. Don't forger to take a Dolphin ferry tour, the counter is just beside this lighthouse. Every Sunday, there is also a Sunday Market at Fisherman's wharf to the west of this lighthouse.

Just a wonderful place to visit , with friendly people. Very knowledgeable and welcoming , made it a pleasant experience. There is disabled parking right out front with wheelchair ramps and entrance in the front , and level access out back . All toilets including disability toilets . Clean throughout with some seating out back to take a rest . They had a few displays to look at, and loads of information of course. Highly recommend if you need some information or want to learn more about whats about in the Port Adelaide area pop in . To the staff , thank you so much for kindness you showed my partner who is in a wheelchair Friendly city for meaningful trip. At the Christmas parade, Falun Dafa practitioners bring universal message. "I was delighted to see the Falun Dafa practitioners' float. Every one of them was happy. This made me feel their grace from my heart.” Excellent friendly service from Richard free bike hire is a must to explore the area. Short stroll or pedal to the Lighthouse and markets where the Dolphins are visible. Helpful to plan a meaningful visit to Port Adelaide and surround for a few hours or few days and weeks. So much history behind one ship! This was an impromptu stop for us but so glad we found it. We took a tour led by Peter, who was fantastic and provided tons of information about the history of the ship and how it came be rescued. Definitely recommend seeing the ship and I can’t wait for all the plans for Seaport Village to come together! Wishing you guys the best :) I always used to make a point of going to see the Carrick when she was moored in Glasgow. I never had the pleasure of boarding her though. I was sad when she was badly neglected and even sank a couple of times. I went over to see her when she was lying in a bad way on a slipway in Irvine in Ayrshire. I was always hoping to see her rescued, but with lots of broken promises and funding falling through several times, I thought she was finally doomed. Its great she is being slowly restored to her former glory by people who care about her and go the extra mile to save not just the ship itself but her amazing history and legacy. But most importantly, gave her back her proper name. City of Adelaide. Hopefully I can get to visit her one day and finally board and see the ship as she was meant to be. Really interesting tour, great guides and passionate about this really amazing part of South Australian history. We (2 adults & 3 kids under 7 years old) had a great time. They got us through a tour in about 40 mins which was perfect for us! Could easily enjoy more time if you have it.

Wonderful experience!! We get to have free ride on the little train 🚂. The old gentlemen work there are very nice and welcoming. We get to see real locomotives 🚂. No need to mention how cool it is to sit in the cabin and pretend you are in Agatha Christie’ s book. One little pity is that, due to the COVID restrictions, we didn’t get to visit the dinning cabin. 🥺🥺 Overall, definitely recommended!! Great place to visit if you love trains and nostalgia. Three different train rides to experience, old trains to explore. The staff are extremely friendly, there's adequate facilities and great refreshments, the atmosphere is fun and friendly, perfect for a family day out! I did the Adelaide Haunted Horizons paranormal tour last night( 28/1/22) This is an amazing site! So much rail history, something for everyone! The guide Mikki was fantastic, each section was something different! Highly recommended, an experience you can’t get anywhere else!

If you're an aviation nut like me you'll love this place. Good collection of aircraft over two hangars. Enough to keep you busy for a few hours and a well stocked gift shop including models and books. Pretty neat museum!! Should be a prefect visit place for military geek. (Unluckily I am not ;)) Two hangers of aircrafts which offers in-cabin tour. With easy-to-understand, Australian aviation history notes on site. The best part is the tour notes has Chinese citation. The entry is a bit pricey but you can purchase great(cheap) second hand aircraft book inside. Fantastic aviation museum, with a good focus on SA aviation aspects. Lots of info about Marlinga & Woomera, plus info about testing. Lots of aircraft to enter and inspect, plus options to sit in cockpits. Good sections about specific SA aviators. Comprehensive selection of 2nd hand aviation books that are no longer in print. Highly recommend a visit if you have any interest in aviation.

Fantastic museum about the history of shipping around Port Adelaide & Adelaide. Lots of objects & items to examine, stories to read and videos to watch. Also information about RAN and Adelaide's contributions during the wars. Fascinating & highly enjoyable. Recommend a visit. Love the family events here and the interactive elements of some of the displays, great for the family with friendly staff. Always great to visit this museum once a year. Food scene

We absolutely loved every bite, staff were welcoming and attentive, no item of food was disappointing. We will definitely be back. I would suggest if you have accessibility needs letting the restaurant know when you book so this can be accommodated. It's a little pricey but for the quality and the uniqueness (doubt there's anywhere else here like it), I think it's worth the hype. My only hope is some day they will add American biscuits and gravy to the menu because I'd love to try it! Meat lovers should definitely try this place, and you need to BOOK THE TABLE in advance, they open at 6pm, and all the tables inside were taken at 6:05. They offer great customer service and the staffs are all really friendly. every thing they offer from their menu are delicious, the pork ribs, sausage, pulled pork, beef brisket even the chicken wings are nice. The side dishes are also really good plus the desert. However it is a bit overpriced if you go for that “let us feed you” option and will be better if you order them separately. Overall great experience

Very pleasant trip!! Food here is yum yum. Went with my friend the other day. The decorations here is very exotic and artistic. We are the only customers there at the time so kind of felt like getting all the attention. The service is consistent and very considerate!! My friend is driving so she luvvvvv the fact that they can make the alcoholic drinks non-alcohol. Quote from her “taste even better” !! Price is a little higher than other Vienamese places but think it is worthy. Would consider come again another time. We had a lovely evening, enjoying our Vietnamese cuisine in a funky venue at Miss Viet. Friendly service with out of this world pho. If I had the chance of ordering again, I’d skip the dumplings and dim sims for entree and just stick to the spring rolls It’s a great place to visit with friends. If you have vegan friend in your group. They also have options. Great place to visit. Group of 7 shared 3 course share platter. Asked for more entree instead of desserts, no problem. Service fantastic, food absolutely beautiful and really good value for money. We also loved we could relax and not be moved on because of set 'sittings'. Much appreciated. Thanks. Highly recommended.

Had the feed me menu at $49 per head. A great way to try everything. Highly recommend the margaritas to go with the meal. Food was delicious and the staff were lovely. La Popular Taqueria is up there as one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in Adelaide. When we visited they where busy and understaffed and still provided excellent service and fantastic quality food that was full of flavour. I’m usually not a fan of Mexican restaurants in Australia but La Popular changed my opinion, my mind and my soul! It was delicious coupled with fantastic service and more-ish margaritas! It was busy so I suggest booking a table, however, the team did whatever they could to seat us. Loved it!

Small little place, not the best looking.... but broken rice was very tasty and chicken curry was nicely flavoured just a little watery for my liking. Everyone i was with enjoyed their pho and also Vietnamese ice coffee was nice too. Lovely place with character and a well priced honest menu. The pho beef soup was great together with the spring rolls, chicken dim sims, and the $1 bargain steamed rice … and the mango smoothie the wife had was delicious! Great prompt & friendly service and clever Mr Tam built all the tables, chairs etc., from recycled furniture! Our daughter with family also had dinner straight after us on our recommendation - they weren’t disappointed! Wonderful small business!! I had the best rare beef pho I’ve ever had, the mango smoothie and spring rolls were also brilliant. Very generous portions at a great price. All the furniture was handmade by the owner; was beautiful and gave the restaurant personality. The owner was a very kind and caring man. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Lemongrass chicken salad was delicious. Good price at $12. Worth a visit if your in the area with a hankering for some Vietnamese. Food was fantastic. Price was right, the quality and the quantity of the food is just excellent!! Highly recommended. If you like laksa I highly recommend this place! The laksa is so authentic, the combination of the spices is so good! The inside aesthetic is also very cute- lots of plant themed things. There is cutlery at every table as well as sriracha and hoisin. The pricing is also quite good for the quality and serving size of the meals. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Fantastic food. Great taste and good amount of food with reasonable price.

Bruh. Tasty, delicious, good chicken that puts you in a better mood. Most of the time the workers are speedy in giving me my chicken. The zinger stacker burger easily outranks both the whopper and big Mac. Place is nice people are nice and the chicken is nice, good place to have burgers and chicken. Neat and cosy place in the Port area. Friendly service, bur staff could be a little more attentive. My pick was vegetarian, as always. Decent options available on the menu, a little pricey though. Food taste was excellent The 5 * reviews are correct. This place is perfect. The service was delightful (worthy of 4 * alone). Size of each serving is spot on, temperature as requested and selection plentiful. Fast ordering, 30 mins from seating-to-eating. Butter chicken, delicious. Lamb Biryani, spicy, but not a mouth killer. Onion bhaji, amazing. Entré size is almost a full meal size. Empty plates... We ate the lot! Five people including myself ordered the $69.00 special from the restaurant's printed brochure, and were amazed by the amount of food that was delivered. We are all good eaters, but despite the fact that this special was advertised as being 'for four', the five of us were unable to eat everything that came with the deal. The food was delicious, the service quick (given the size of the order), and we will definitely be ordering from Spice N Ice again. P.S. we were so keen to get stuck into the food that we didn't even think to take photographs of the huge spread. Next time I will make sure we do. Thank you Spice and Ice. Food was fantastic, the staff were absolutely lovely and made sure to accommodate to our every needs. It’s great to have a trusty local restaurant near by.

Big ol' flea market still going. All sorts of knick-knacks, trash and treasure being sold here. It's been going for decades! Or at least one whole decade since I moved to Adelaide 10 years ago. Always stop here for a quick coffee break during bike rides awesome stall with SO MANY POPS! And some I never knew existed! Got some Goonies pops and Peter Frisari was super awesome, even went out on and extra limb and ordered the rest of what I need to complete the Goonies set of pops! A+ Peter thank you! Such a wide range of goods. Definitely not your average market that’s for sure! With a large focus on second hand items and bric-a-brac type things. Great for retro game hunting however there is sure to be something else that will catch your eye while you explore the area!

As read in most reviews the location is beautiful. I also highly recommend the food! We had halloumi burger and ragu mushrooms. 5 stars for this!! We were told that our food would take 1 hour, so this isn’t a complaint, but some constructive feedback for the owners. The long wait is because the kitchen is ‘small’. Given the space this restaurant has, one would think a practical solution for this problem would be to expand the kitchen? Having been told about the wait, we knew what to expect. However, I did overhear 1 customer cancel their breakfast because of the wait and another inquire and complain as they hadn’t been told, after waiting 45 minutes. Such an awesome cafe with an incredible view! You're hanging out over the water which is just spectacular, especially when dolphins pop up right next to you! The food was excellent, coffee was good and staff were friendly. Certainly a hidden gem worth checking out when you're in the Port Adelaide area.

It is a local pub with relaxed atmosphere. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Dishes are classic pub fare, perfectly prepared. Good value, too. Edit: Returned again for a 3 generation family lunch. We had excellent service and everyone was happy with the meals. The squid schnitzel was the favourite (and one of the reasons we booked in there). What looks like a modern building is actually quite old and was known as the Kent Hotel. It was modernised into an Art Deco building and a staircase still remains from that era. There are photos on the walls documenting how this hotel changed with the times. only place we can get squid schnitzel.Good meals at reasonable prices. The best tuna patties ever! Large serving, great prices, quick service. Salad bar has a good assortment of fresh salads to choose from or roast vegies. Nice well presented pub. Well worth a visit for a meal, you won't be disappointed.

Great Friday lunch at Pirate Life. Great feel as you walk in. Reminds me of Little Creatures in Freo which I also love. Food was great. The tuna sashimi in particular a stand out. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Beer out of this world. The only thing I would change is to have wood oven pizza on the menu. This place is going to pump. Super impressed with this place. Came here after being a fan of their limited run beers. I live in the Adelaide Hills so it’s not the closest place to come however, I’ve been twice in the past month 😂 Really impressed with the service and the professionalism of the staff. Top notch all the way. The meals are also really fantastic. However if I had a critique it would be to offer more gluten free, or dairy free options. That being said, staff were happy to improvise which is great. The addition of the in house barber is 🔥 and I got the best beard trim I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back. Thanks guys Fantastic food, drinks and atmosphere! All our share plates were amazing can't wait to come back and try some more! Staff were amazing. Will be our new regular spot!

We win and we enjoy it. Every dynasty has ups and downs, not us. Covid was a hard time for everyone. The referees are always great for a laugh. When fully operational during BB season a good stadium. 3 courts plenty of tiered seating and a good canteen selling everything Well storied stadium with a nbl championship banner hanging in the rafters. Slightly tired but extremely well maintained stadium with perfectly respectable cafe

I have attended numerous City to Bay training sessions here over last few months and they have all been really useful. One of the beauties is the mix of ppl and abilities and watching ppl improve over the sessions. The grounds are well looked after Multi function venue. Very good community club
