If you need to pick up some new clothes, or do some retail therapy, Columbia center is a great option. There is a Barnes and Noble, Macy's, JC penney's, Food court, hair and nail salon, Dicks sporting goods and several other staple mall stores.

Every Friday starting in June through October, Richland has a fantastic Farmers market in the parkway. There will be live music, food stands, fresh local produce, and specialty items. Take some time to check out the shops in the Parkway as well. Howard Amon park along the River is just across the street.
