My grandparents used to take me here as a child! The GWR steam railway is great, especially for young kids, you should visit their website first to check for timings

Great atmosphere in the bar area, where they serve food and drinks as well as allowing dogs. dogs aren't allowed in the main restaurant though. Also a large beer garden to the rear

It's always tricky to not make a stop the local bakery, also on the main street, with their tempting cakes, breads and sourdoughs, plus a Meal Deal option which is an indulgent treat!

The White Hart is also a yummy pub in town, with a great range of ciders, ales as well as all the usuals - the food is also delicious - it’s always wise to book in advance to avoid being disappointed as it is a popular local spot - dogs are also
allowed here too.
