This is a good low-end sushi restaurant very close to the apartment. It's not the best in the city, but it satisfies a sushi craving. :)

This is the best sushi in the city. It's pricey but so worth it. Amazing omakase (chef's choice) and top notch rolls a la carte. Highly recommended.

This is the best coffee in the neighborhood and maybe all of NY. Excellent single origin espresso and tasty pastries. Low-lighting makes the place pretty atmospheric.

This is the Tribeca location of this chain restaurant, but the food is healthy/light and the coffee is decent. I mostly go for one of the salads or tartines when I'm there.

This place invented the cosmopolitan cocktail! The Odeon is famous and rightly so. American/French food. Good for dinner, but they also do a great brunch.
