Moravian Falls is a very small community, although it actually has its own beautiful Water Falls, that is a favorite for many to go & take photos. Don’t miss the Blue Ridge Parkway, it has absolutely beautiful views! The town of Blowing Rock is very precious, The Best Cellar Restaurant and Bistro Roca are some favorites to dine for that special dinner. Raffaldinis Vineyard has wine tasting and is approx 35 min away, you’ll feel like you just stepped into Italy with their beautiful villa that houses their tasting room. Sheltons Harvest Cafe has an excellent lunch or dinner, we met the chef and talked with him, an incredible man of excellence, this is approximately 45 minutes away that would be a special place to celebrate. We also suggest one of our favorites Jolo's Vineyards in Pilot Mountain, you will Need reservations as this small intimate restaurant is a very popular place, which is a 1 hour drive from the cabin. Our favorite wine there is the Jolotage Reserve. If for some reason you would rather not drive a distance and would like to stay close to the cabin we do have 2 suggestions for restaurants in North Wilkesboro that we go to. The first one is "6th and Main" this restaurant is in what was an old estate home at one time, if you make reservations for this one ask for the main room right off of the foyer for your table. "Roselli's on Tenth" Italian restaurant is another one and very intimate as well, we suggest to make reservations and we usually order what ever is their special for the evening, their swordfish was amazing and their desserts are all homemade! You can look them up on either on yelp or their perspective websites to make your final choice to celebrate your special evening! We also have beautiful Frescoes that are housed in The St Paul's Episcopal church in town, they commissioned internationally renowned artist Ben Long that uses the same fresco technique Michelangelo chose when he painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
