City/town information

Small, upscale town with numerous fine dining options. Some of my faves... 1. Whitefish Lake Golf Course - Steaks, home cooking 2. Whitefish Lake Lodge - Great views of lakes and mountains and the best moscow mules. Really good food. 3. Ciao Mambo - Great Italian food - it is LOUD in there 4. Tupelo Grille - Southern Cuisine. Nothing else like it in the Valley. 5. Firebrand - Great Drinks and entertainment. The Husband is the CFO of Averill Hospitality (Whitefish Lake Lodge and Firebrand)

Packing for Montana

Dress in layers. Montana's weather can be bi-polar. Sunscreen. We're high up in altitude. That sun (even on overcast days) can get ya! Comfortable Shoes. Lots of gravel parking lots. Heels and gravel don't always mix. Bear Spray. If you plan to hike in the park. Please pack this.
