Tivoli is one of the oldest parks in the world.
To get there: Take the train to the main train station (Københavns Hovedbanegård) from Ørestad station, it takes just 6 minutes, and from there its just opposite the train station.

In Ørestad you can visit:
-8 tallet: Take the metro two stops to the end stop Vestamager. Otherwise you can walk through beautifull nature at Amager Fælled and get to it that way).
- Bjerget (Bjerget means the mountain and its just 150 meters from the apartment. It was elected as the best building to live in some years ago. All the apartments have gardens).
Go to the small bridge for a nice view of the building and climb the stairs entering almost right along the bridge for a great view of Øresatad.
- VM-Husene (Just 150 meters from the apartment).
- Bella Sky. Have a cocktail and enjoy the views from the top of this beautifull hotel.
Amager Fælled:
Just 200 m. from the apartment you have this area for running, bicycling, walking and explore nature.

Vesterbro is another really nice, relaxed and trendy part of the city. Among others the huge brewery of Carlsberg used to be located here. Its also great for going out out places (like the old butcher district "Kødbyen" - "The meat district").

Dont miss the small streets of especillay Amagergade where one of the most famous old danish movies where recorded. Look for the building with the sign "Rottehullet".
In this area you also find the famous hippie quater of "Christania".

Now its a place for alternative thinking people, hippies and in general people who wanna "slow down" and dont like the direction and high speed the normal/modern is moving in. Its also the place for a huge part of hash selling at the danish market.
Its an area that are dividing the Danish people a lot. Especially about the huge selling of hash, huge police ressources being used but also because the people dont pay property taxes. Its like a city in the city

Chritania is an old hippie quarter, the buildings used to below to the military. Now its a place for alternative thinking people, hippies and in general people who wanna "slow down" and dont like the direction and high speed the normal/modern is moving in. Its also the place for a huge part of hash selling at the danish market.
Its an area that are dividing the Danish people a lot. Especially about the huge selling of hash, huge police ressources being used but also because the people dont pay property taxes. Its like a city in the city

Metro, train and buses are just around the corner
Go to Journeyplanner.dk (or Rejseplannen if you read Danish). Here you easily can plan your whole journey and see frequency of buses and trains.
Bella Center (metro) and Ørestad (metro and train station) are within 200-300 meters from the apartment.
From Ørestad you can also catch the regional train connection to Copenhagen main train station (Københavns Hovedbanegård) at around 6 minutes (easy if you go to Tivoli, Vesterbro and the city center) or to Malmö/Sweeden in the other direction.
