We are truly blessed to live here as the views over the valley are beautiful. You can also walk in many directions for miles. You can get totally lost in nature with an amazing array of wildlife all around us.

Blackdown walk
Blackdown which is just above us is one of the most spectacular walks which if you are fit, you can walk from our house or drive up there and park. It is a circular plateau with spectacular views over West Sussex
You can walk from our house (for good walkers as very steep) or you can drive up and park and walk

This is a lovely walk in the walled park of Petworth house. There are LOTS deer so be careful with your dogs. You can also book to go into Petworth house

This is in Godalming and I highly recommend this in Autumn as the Acers are amazing.

This is a lovely Autumn walk as all the trees reflect in the lakes

The Devil’s Punchbowl and Gibbets Hill
The Devil’s Punchbowl was was set up after the Hindhead tunnel was built. It’s a lovely walk with magnificent views. It leads onto Gibbets hill where there used to be hangings years ago

Grayshott is a quaint village with lots of shops and a very good pub called the fox and pelican. There is a great farm shop and coffee shop to eat after a walk round Waggoners wells

Chichester is a large town with a multitude of shops both independent and chains. It has nearby places like Goodwood racecourse and golf course with the very smart Kennels restaurant.
It also has lovely nearby places like west Witterings beach, Bosham and Itchenor, all worth a visit.
