It's a farm to plate style restaurant that self sources itself from its own farms deli & bakery & when they do bring in products its the finest local produce, there is a definite "know where your food comes from " ethic . They have a great on site bakery if you make it down early you can sit in the historical old bake house & enjoy a treat ..They do excellent coffee (which you can get from the deli on week day mornings) & serve a great breakfast on weekends & beautiful lunches & dinners 7 days a week. They have an excellent bar & the quality in general is excellent. iyts also located in a gorgeous quaint town that if you like antique shops & home style vibes you'll love .. its also 5-10 mins from beautiful killen waterfalls so you can have the best coffee then check out the falls

142 Bangalow Rdroad house has a modern "food is medicine" kind of feel to it , a RELAXED paleo vibe, & a lot of made on site products like their own handmade kombucha, fermented & pickled foods, etc.. without being abstract or confusing you can find yourself enjoying something new you've never even heard of before - its the perfect combination of unique & familiar .. great food, great coffee, great scene ( & across the road from a pleasant little bush walk that has you arrive on a gorgeous white sand beach & tea tree lake) & famed whisky collection .. this is the place if you're a whisky lover you'll get a friendly & interesting rave on all the whiskies the knowledge is great & interesting & makes for quite an experience under the fairy lights & starlight on a perfect byron bay balmy night
footbridge is located in gorgeous brunswick head with river views always quality food , it can get busy but you can always ask to take your meal across to the park ( worth throwing a picnic blanket n the car if you're into it ) , its a great cafe for families also as the owners are parents & the staff are probably the most friendly i've ever experienced. ( & there s also a playground across the road ) food & coffee are always great , gorgeous service & the opportunity to walk the river or beach post meal without having to repark the car ..

9 Bay Lnif you feel like keeping it simple you can't go past fishmongers for great fish & chunky style chips .. only a short walk from main beach , & its worth walking there to snack with a view time it for sunset & you'll get a pink sky & you'll hear the famed drumming circle - if its your thing check it out post fish & chipping its 2 mins down the beach ( you'll hear in which direction )
Located in the woolies complex & the only free parking in byron now .. O- sushi is aesthetically pleasing & their service & quality is great ..

Sightseeing
The most easterly point in Australia & with rewarding view the light house is a must do for everyone .. you can take the easy way & drive up or park at wategos beach & do the light house walk .. in whale season its a great place to get a great view & spot whales.. you can also take a walk into the light house if you're fascinated by history it is a small little treasure of its own ..

Cape Byron Walking TrackThe most easterly point in Australia & with rewarding view the light house is a must do for everyone .. you can take the easy way & drive up or park at wategos beach & do the light house walk .. in whale season its a great place to get a great view & spot whales.. you can also take a walk into the light house if you're fascinated by history it is a small little treasure of its own ..
Parks & Nature
a gorgeous beach & the closest one to our site , often a decent surf break , you can take a long walk , the water is gorgeous, the cliffy head land is beautiful, which you can also take a walk across on a path .. if the tide is right there's rock pools which are just as fun for kids as adults to explore ..

A gorgeous water fall within 15 min drive from our place .. an easy to medium walk which ends at the top of the falls , there is a fork in the track at which point you can get yourself down to the river & walk back to the pool at the base of the falls check our picture gallery or google it to see more

another water fall but a bit further away minion falls is aprox an hour walk at a leisurely pace a relatively easy walk with one little rocky spot that you have to climb a little & a big stone basin of a pool at the bottom ..

crystal castle is as it names suggests a place where you can get to see some pretty amazing crystals it now also has a stupor & beautful gardens a very serene & scenic place to go. google it to find out more info

Mount Wollumbin or also known as mount warning is the remaining peak of an ancient old volcano & is at the centre of the coldera that makes u the northern rivers area . It is a sacred place to the indigenous people of this area & different people hold different views about hiking it .. if you feel fine with it it is an incredible hike with epic views at the end & the best place to see the sun rise.. it is not a hard climb until you get to the area with a chain where you need too pull your self up a short but steep 90 degree vertical climb, children have done it & i've done it once i but i would not recommend if you are not up for putting in some effort . its not super close to us but its close enough for how rewarding the visit will be & could make a good on the way home adventure if your'e coming from queensland

one of the largest Tea tree lakes in the area & only a short 15 min drive from us...
unlike some of the other tea tree lakes lake ainsworth is not very secluded but on the bright side its not a bush walk to get to which if you have kids definitely can make for an easier adventure .. with beautiful beaches directly opposite the lake & heaps of cafe's to choose from along the main road strip ...
