Excellent spot for some great BBQ. Make sure to try the different sauces (don't shy away from the mustard sauce!). Their BBQ eggrolls and sampler platters are our favorites. Only open Thursday through Saturday, so plan accordingly.

The owners are so friendly, and there's always a fun group of people dining in. Don't skip out on the food either - their flatbreads are great, as is their giant pretzel with mustard and cheese!

Greenville has tons to offer, so it's worth the 45-minute drive if you haven't been. Downtown has tons of wonderful food. Don't pass on Methodical Coffee either - it's where we get our coffee beans from and they are fabulous!

The closest grocery store is Dill's Food City, and there are also a few liquor stores (Hartwell is a non-liquor county, so ensure you stop here if you're looking for something besides beer and wine).

Hartwell has a cute downtown and is only 20 minutes from Hey Frame (you'll notice lots of recommendations from this town!). This is your stop for the closest Walmart, and the Ingles grocery store is great.

Fun mountain town to visit with a great downtown, and there are some fun stops along the way. The Moonrise Distillery tasting tour is great and recommended - just ensure to bring a designated driver!

You'll need your own car to get around
Plan to rent a car or drive. There is typically no Uber or Lyft in the area as we are in rural Georgia, so pan accordingly when going out (don't drink and drive!).
Voyage avec enfants
The home is not child-friendly
Please be aware that while we allow children, it is at your own risk to bring them as our home is not child friendly. There are many sharp corners, breakable objects, climbing hazards (a ladder), and we are right on the lake with a very steep walk. Keep this in mind before you come and bring anything you might need with you.

Pack your personal belongings - we handle the rest
We try to have everything you'll need at the house - kitchen utensils, detergent, dish soap, dishwasher pods, tin foil, paper towels, etc. We also have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience. We do provide lake towels in addition to bath towels, but please remember to bring your own sunscreen if you plan to be out on the lake! Also, we would really, really appreciate it if you didn't use spray sunscreen inside the house and would get into dry clothes before sitting on the furniture :)
