Seasalter Beach access from the Cabin: at the end of the road, take a left until you reach the field, across the field and follow the alley-ways, crossing 2 roads, until you reach Florence Avenue, take a left to Joy Lane and then cross over and over the rail bridge and you're there! Tip: check tide times before as we only get the tide up to 2hrs either side of high tide - https://www.tidetimes.org.uk/whitstable-approaches-tide-times. You are able to walk / cycle all the way along the North Coast to Margate and beyond!

Whitstable Harbour is a lovely 30 minute stroll from the Cabin along the beach. The new South Quay Shed only opened in May 2022 offers a variety of local business - offering arts and crafts shops, takeaway food and a bar. There is also a market offering range of food and gifts. The Harbour Garden Cafe in the Harbour is an outdoor bar offering brilliant dining options and music throughout the summer

Whitstable town is accessed within 25 mins walk along the beach. Take the directors to the beach and then turn right and follow all the way along the coast into town. Whitstable has a wide variety of acclaimed restaurants, pubs and quaint shops along Harbour Street. Recommended to book restaurants in advance for weekends, particularly in the summer as they get booked up. The Whitstable Oyster Festival is an annual event at the end of July with a variety of events, music and a mug-tug! Tip: check out Whitstable Gig Guide Facebook page for local bands playing in the town - live music and events most weekends

Large variety of local shops and ever-growing arts and crafts scene. Well established music scene including the international acclaimed Hop Festival which takes place the first weekend of September - a free festival throughout the whole town with up to 4 different stages. Faversham can be accessed by train.
