No motorized boats allowed. Quiet and serene. Get there before 10 for better luck at securing your own sandy spot.

During the off season, you can either go to the left of the small ticket booth and over a little wood bridge to access the trail; or in the upper parking lot, go straight up the paved Pemigewasset trail/bike path until you reach the access road, then take a right down the road until you see the trail to the left.
