The small community has a number of delicious restaurants, making it a great stop post mountain adventures.

The Sandy Food carts are a great spot in town. My favorite cart is hands down the Pinto Thai truck. The pumpkin curry is highly recommended!

The Mt. Hood region is a beautiful seasonal destination. With this in mind, it's not uncommon to experience all four seasons in one day! You may wake up to a brisk, cool morning. Experience glorious sunshine during the afternoon. Then end the day with a torrential downpour. It is recommended to pack layers, always have a rain jacket on standby, and be prepared with sunscreen just in case.
