Walk through the historic downton inside the mourish wall and the shopping street Rua de Sto Antonio where you will find lots of great restaurants. Take a boat to explore the Natural park of the Ria Formosa or spend the day in one of the beautiful Islands (Ilha deserta or Ilha do farol) . There is also an open air shopping mal (Forum Algarve) with lots of shops and cinema.

Visit the roman ruins of Milreu and explore this boutique village at only 5km from the house. The Palace of Estoi is now a hotel but the building and the gardens are open to the public to visit for free.
