This place is famous for it’s home made cakes but also for their high teas and lunches. Situated in a idyllic scenery, this place is really worth a visit! They also have small boats for rent to explore the environment from the water.

Waterland has a lot of small canals so there is no better way to enjoy this landscape from the water. There are also plenty of swimming opportunities.

Cycling is best way to explore Waterland (besides renting a boat). We have some bikes at home that you can use but if they don’t meet your wishes you can rent bikes in Monnickendam. I would really recommend to take the bike to cycle around:-)
