Wonderful gardens surrounding an historic mansion. Hilly and densely wooded, you don't feel like you're in Houston. The pedestrian suspension bridge over Buffalo Bayou is a special treat.

My favorite Hermann park with Japanese Gardens, paddle boats, Zoo and famous free Miller Outdoor Theater under the open air. Bring your snacks and wine and enjoy the show.

The visual illusions from the light play off of the shallow water is really neat. The acoustics and echo are amazing. Take the guided tour and you will lean the history of it. Or you can check meditation sessions in this place with special sound.
