City/town information

A destination in itself, Prescott is known for Whiskey Row & the beautiful pines and cooler weather. Less than 1.5 hours north of the house, and a simple drive up the I-17, Prescott is the ideal day trip destination or overnight stay. Great markets line the courtyard from time to time, so look ahead when your heading there to be able to view local artists, taste some amazing food from the vendors, and mingle among the families and fun locals.

A little bit of the Old West still exists in Phoenix in the Cave Creek area. Head to Buffalo Chip for Bull Riding on Wednesdays & Fridays, or to Janey's Coffee Shop for some live music and dancing after the sun goes down. Walkable and plenty of markets throughout the year, a quick 15 minute car ride to Cave Creek is a NECESSITY on a first trip to Phoenix.

Hiking Trails Galore

Head right out the door to the Sonoran Desert Trails by heading east on Sonoran Desert Drive till it dead ends, and then picking up the trailhead on the north side of the street. Or head to Apache Wash Trailhead where you can maybe get a glimpse of the beautiful horses that are able to trail ride in the cooler months. Mountain biking is also great in the area with over 20 miles of trails in the Sonoran Desert System. Download the app AllTrails for more information, or simply head to Maps and do some digging in the area right around the house.
Se déplacer dans les environs

Cars are needed for Phoenix life, we're really spread out.

Most places you will need a car to get to, and ride sharing services to the area can get expensive on a regular basis. I would suggest renting a car if you are able to!
