Really good family day out it's a working meusium, with blacksmiths cafes and restaurants. Check their website for special events throughout the year. Open air theatre is my summer favourite

Awesome castle right in the centre of Cardiff always a great day out. Just walk across the road and you are in the Victorian arcades with shops bars and restaurants.
