In the evening, check out the Open Gate Brewery, up the street from the Storehouse on Thomas/St. James St.. Guinness’ experimental brewery is open to the public in the evenings to sample 2-3 of their latest experimental brews. They do charge admission, but you do get a tasting board with it. We’d recommend going for the experimental stuff, as there will be things on the menu like “Irish Pale Ale” which is really Smithwicks Pale Ale without the branding, sneaky stuff.

In the evening, check out the Open Gate Brewery, up the street from the Storehouse on Thomas/St. James St.. Guinness’ experimental brewery is open to the public in the evenings to sample 2-3 of their latest experimental brews. They do charge admission, but you do get a tasting board with it. We’d recommend going for the experimental stuff, as there will be things on the menu like “Irish Pale Ale” which is really Smithwicks Pale Ale without the branding, sneaky stuff.
