Located just blocks from your stay, The Dakota is as lovely and local as it can get! Offering an assortment of beers, wines, cocktails, and some of the most delicious food you'll find in the Eastside, The Dakota often offers live music throughout the weekend and has a great outdoor space to socialize or decompress after a day of exploring San Antonio. If you're in town on a Thursday, catch the live jazz troupe made of local musicians while you enjoy some dinner! I cannot recommend The Dakota enough.

TVs scattered throughout the indoors area create a fun venue to watch sports, or on the weekend you may find live bands or DJs serving up fun music and mixes!

With a large assortment of beers and seasonal ingredients inspiring their unique tastes, Kunstler is a popular weekend establishment of after-work stop on the weekdays. The food here is also note-worthy, with the Bahn Mi Brat and Chicken Schnitzel (offered only on Wednesdays) are some of our favorites!

With a large assortment of beers and seasonal ingredients inspiring their unique tastes, Kunstler is a popular weekend establishment of after-work stop on the weekdays. The food here is also note-worthy, with the Bahn Mi Brat and Chicken Schnitzel (offered only on Wednesdays) are some of our favorites!
Roadmap is another local treasure located Downtown and has some of our favorite brews! Located just outside Roadmap is the Project Pollo food truck, a vegan and vegetarian friendly option that is delicious through and through!

The Friendly Spot is a Southtown staple of San Antonio. Visited by locals and tourists alike, this Ice House has an ENORMOUS selection of draft beers, but also offers frozen cocktails and canned or bottled beverages as well. With a bar-style food menu to pair, Friendly Spot features funky DJs on the weekends and has plenty of space to catch a view of their big screens in the front and back of their property. This place is very child friendly, so everyone in the family can enjoy this gem!

Visited by locals and tourists alike, this Ice House has an ENORMOUS selection of draft beers, but also offers frozen cocktails and canned or bottled beverages as well. With a bar-style food menu to pair, Friendly Spot features funky DJs on the weekends and has plenty of space to catch a view of their big screens in the front and back of their property. This place is very child friendly, so everyone in the family can enjoy this gem!
Located directly above Domingo Restaurant, the hotel bar Otro, owned by the same restauranteurs as Domingo, offers smaller portions of Domingos plates but a larger and equally delicious assortment of drinks. This spot sit on a beautiful outdoor patio overseeing the Riverwalk, providing picture perfect moments. Although you can often get lucky and find a spot at the bar without a reservation, we highly recommend calling ahead to reserve a table.
