Town Square splash pad and Carousel. Located next to the Children's Museum, Library, Tabernacle and local Art displays. A great way to spend the day or afternoon without getting in a car. There are usually lots of free events hosted by the city of St. George like Movies in the Park and festivals depending on the time of year you visit. A skimboard park walking distance from our home. Famous for skim boarding, natural rock 'slides' and the man made waterfall. Free and always open, it's a great way to spend a few hours in the sun and sand without having to drive to the lake or beach.

A fun and free dinosaur themed playground and splash pad for kids of all ages and abilities. The train does cost one dollar but it will be a favorite for young and old alike.

Enjoy this 3.8-mile out-and-back trail near Washington, Utah. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 26 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and horseback riding, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are March through November. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

One of my personal favorite hikes that is just off the Leeds exit. You have to take a dirt road but otherwise is accessible by all types of vehicles. All points of interest and routes can be accessed on your preferred app for "Maps."

A fun, local hike that is right off of Red Cliffs Parkway. You can do a loop and check out the views of Lava rock and the canyons of Tuacahn or watch some of the rock climbers.
