Ashton Court Estate is only 8 minutes away by car and is a wonderful place to walk and explore. It is a deer park, with a mansion and cafe, and with lots of walking to do around it.

The best free Bristol museum. It's right on the harbourside so you can also have a stroll by the water after your visit.

A quick 30 minutes by car will get you to Clevedon Marine Lake. It is wonderful for a swim at sunset and you can walk along the promenade to the pier, or over the hill on Poets Walk. A beautiful place to admire the view across to Wales as well.

My favourite out of town pub. The menu has not changed in decades and it's all the better for it! Come here for a proper British pub, the best roast beef sandwich or cauliflower cheese, and add on a walk up Dolebury Warren for some great views to the coast.
