On The Lake
Washburn Marina offers guided boat tours of Lake Lure and private boat rentals. If you are bringing your own boat you can also obtain a visitor boat permit here. All boats, including non-motorized vessels, require a daily permit.

Lake Lure Adventure Company is an adventure! They offer private boat rentals, waterskiing, tubing, kneeboarding and wakeboarding. The staff is incredible as well.

Around the Lake
The Flowering Bridge is a community volunteer planted and preserved Wildlife Habitat recognized by the National Wildlife Federation. It is a must see any time of year and an easy stroll for all ages and activity levels. We definitely recommend doing the scavenger hunt while touring the gardens. The scavenger hunt cards are located in the mailboxes at each end of the bridge.
