Best, fresh made smoothies and juices in town. My favorite is the "mixed vibes" smoothie. They also have really good salads and sandwiches.

This farmer's market runs from May - October ONLY! (Saturdays 9am- 1pm). You can get all the fresh produce you need, here. The vendors rotate, so you might catch different offerings from week to week.

Hands down, this place serves some of the best coffee in Oak Park. Plenty of space for a reading session with perfect views of the street.

This is a new addition to Oak Park. Its right up Broadway in the triangle! Oakhaus offers a great selection of local draft beer and foods- including sausages, fries and (oddly enough) freshly made cupcakes :)

Usually open on weekends, I really like the art in rotation here. Its also about 10 minute walk away.

If you're looking for a unique item, i highly recommend that you check out Strapping. They've got everything from cool t- shits to mustache masks. Its a 10 minute walk away and theres a few other shops nearby (if you can't find what you're looking for).

The Capital is beautiful. If you havent seen it, I suggest you try to before your stay is up. A lush park surrounds the magnificent structure. Its a great place to walk, watch and enjoy a coffee or tea.

You won't find any other place in Sacramento with older style shops, eateries and trinkets. Its right by the Sacramento river and a must stop for visitors!
