A short walk from our house and a nice place to walk around, both around the grounds in the museum. We often walk down with the kids on a sunny day. It's a ruined Cistercian monastery in Kirkstall set in a public park on the north bank of the River Aire. It was founded c.1152.

The Tetley is a centre for contemporary art at the heart of Leeds' South Bank, with a gallery, learning studio and Bar & Kitchen. Nice place to explore and great great bar and grill. Particularly good for a Sunday lunch if you want a Yorkshire roast dinner!
