This is mostly an Italian take-out restaurant having pizza, subs, and daily specials, but they also have an ice cream shop. There is a nice area by the river to sit if you want to take your food and walk down close to the river. They have a wonderful fish fry!

You can overlook the town.
I go to the beach to walk and then go up the Rimrock Trail.
The water is great for swimming in Kinzua Lake. Picnic tables and grills are located at several places.

Allegheny National Forest has a reservoir and the lake is beautiful. Many hiking trails, boating, kayaking/canoeing -marina, camping, swimming, and fishing. My favorite place.

Hatch Run Road
Hatch Run RoadHatch Run Conservation Area is a nice area for hiking on shorter trails.
This is another conservation area, but it is a beautiful swamp with many geese and ducks. Depending on the time of year you can view a good variety of wildlife. Wear orange (I have a few things) because of the hunters.

This art gallery has permanent and visiting exhibits. Quite often there are receptions when an artist starts the exhibit and these are open to the public. It is nice to visit and then see some historical artifacts as well. The hours are on the website:

This is a restored theatre. It is amazing inside! In this venue there is a variety of shows ranging from concerts(classical, pop, country, and rock) to shows (music theatre and plays). There is also a movie series in this theatre. It is two blocks away.
