I've included a bunch of restaurants and cafés near the house as well as some a bit further away. Some are pretty well-known and some are off the beaten path. All are worth it.
this is probably the closest coffee shop we got. It has a lovely ambiance, great coffee and delicious food!

Their brunch is legendary though I prefer to go on weekdays and avoid crowds. Love their french toast and eggs.

If you love mediterranean/middle eastern food, Sarkis is the place to go. There is always a wait but the food is so worth it.

If you are a beef eater, this is your place. It's not cheap but the servers cut the steak with a spoon, so yeah, it's worth it.

If you eat gluten-free, then you must visit this restaurant/cafe. Everything they serve is gluten-free. They have pasta, sandwiches, cakes and much more. Their bread is delicious and their cakes are too decadent!

If you are looking for a good place to eat parrilla at local prices, this is the place to visit. It's not pretty but the meat is good, their morcilla is delicious and their prices are unbeatable.

We've tried many burger places in the city but this one never dissapoints. It's open all day and their burgers are always superb.

What sets this burger place apart from the rest is their absolutely amazing smoked eggplant dip and the quality of the meat. They also have gluten-free bread and their beers are great too.

I really love the white vermouth with soda here. Their food is delicious, portions are not big but not tiny either. Their Buñuelos de acelga, Milanesa con fritas and Fainizzeta are all excellent examples of typical argentinean food with a twist.

Parks & Nature
This is Buenos Aires' equivalent to NY's Central Park. A big park with lots of things to see and places to walk. There is a museum, a planetarium, a rose garden with roses from all over the world, and many trails to walk and enjoy some nature in the city.

You can take the "Tren de la Costa" all the way to Tigre for a wonderful day of sightseeing.

Just 4 blocks from my house, you have a subway station for the B line (Dorrego). You can take this to connect and move around the city. You will need a SUBE card (you just add money to it as needed) to pay for the tickets.
