Although it's only open part-time we just love the little library in West End. An historic brick building complete with clocktower. If you want a quiet moment it's a fine place to hang out and browse.

This is the nearest cinema. In Brisbane going to the moveis is great if it's just too hot outside. When the day cools off you can stroll home from here to the apartment along the river paths.
