Good sushi, modestly priced., always busy. The entrance is on the side street, easy to miss. Sit in a booth and order on the ipad. Best yakitori in town!

Unique 'pay what you can afford' veggie restaurant. Yes, a lot of the dishes do have lentils but the food is good. Expect to see the most dreadlocks in Sydney.

Don't bother with the food but the bar is a good place to meet on Enmore Road. This is part of the Merivale group so expect slick but slightly contrived styling. Move on from here to the more authentic small bars up and down Enmore Rd.

We love walking up and down King Street with all the quirky shops. Highlights are the locally made fashion, the vintage stores, record stores and tattoo parlours. Walk all the way to the University if you have the energy.
