The freetown Christiania is very famous and a must-visit in Copenhagen. It is perhaps best known for its autonomous inhabitants and their different lifestyles. It is a mix of homemade houses, workshops, art galleries, music venues, cheap and organic eateries. It is also commonly known, that some people here buy and sell pot and marihuana. You are not allowed to take any photographs or video. You may know the Danish singer Lukas Graham, who grew up in Christiania. During summertime, free concerts with different artists are held every Sunday evening.
