A beautifully restored light house, with a Fresnel (sp?) lens, which you can see fully operable from many vantage points along the coast. The old inn-keepers homes are also restored.

Mendocino is a historical preservation district, and this sweet museum shows you how the early logging families lived in the late 1800s. There are also great historical walking tours of the neighborhood that can be booked through airbnb. I work here so let me know if you plan to stop by!
