This is delicious and affordable Thai food. My kids and Iove the deep fried spring rolls and I really enjoy the sweet and sour soup.

LCAC has a nice shop in the front where the work of 50 local clay artists is sold. The items are great for gifts or keepsakes. They offer classes, drop-in-days one Sunday of each month, workshops, and studio space for artists. Right in the heart of London's hippest up-and-coming neighbourhood, Old East Village.

The London Community Players is the theatre troupe that performs out of the Palace Theatre in Old East Village. This restored space is really lovely and a great way to support a burgeoning community.

Not to be confused with London Music Hall, the Club is in an old house on Colborne Street and offers live music each night. There are several rooms with different acts playing in each. Take a look at their website for Open Mic Nights. Charming and fun!

No Frill's carries President's Choice products from Loblaws as well as many other brands. I find the quality of produce to be quite good and the prices are 20-30% lower than shopping at Loblaws Superstore, Metro, etc. This No Frill's franchise is the closest to my house.

Getting Around
You can take VIA Rail from London to destinations such as Woodstock and Toronto to the east and Chatham, Sarnia or Windsor in the other direction.

Parks & Nature
A large urban park that is great for walking, cycling and rollerblading. There are nicely paved trails that wind along the edge of the Thames River. This is a very well-used park and one in which families love to picnic or visit Storybook Gardens.

This is another large park in the northeast of London. Good for sailing, canoeing, and kayaking on the man-made Lake Fanshawe. Lots of trails for walking and mountain biking as well.
