Parks & Nature
This is just 15 minutes away and is a beautiful spot to wander in or take a picnic. The lake is full of wildlife and the squirrels are always up for a nut or two if you have them .... they like to be fed by hand! The bridge across the centre of the lake gives you the best views to Whitehall and the London Eye one way; to Buckingham Palace the other. There is a good cafe and a couple of food stalls ... so you will not go hungry.

this is so close it would be criminal not to visit ... and it is right on the River Thames in an iconic period building. You can get the ferry from the pier nearby which will take you to its sister Museum, Tate Modern.

This supermarket should have all you need. A tiny bit nearer and much smaller are Waitrose (upmarket) and Tesco on Warwick Way - these have more ready prepared meals, shorter queues and a little bit more expensive.
