The neighborhood rule of thumb is everyone eats here at least once a week because El Burrito Azteca has figured out that great combination of good food and fast service at a great price. If you're in a hurry, they're as fast as any fast food. If you're hungry, you're almost guaranteed to fill your appetite. If you're on a budget, it's hard to eat for less at home. Plus, everyone there is on their game - the service is great. It is an order at the register and bus your own table, but so are a lot of other places now. They also have a lounge next door that is connected to the restaurant, so you can have a beer or drink, too. Call-in & take out available.

A great, small, locally owned authentic Thai restaurant only two block from the NoPo Studio. Another one of our favorite with delicious daily specials and the most pleasant staff in North Portland. Take out is available, as well.

Usually bands are local, but you may catch a regional band passing through. A small venue that can get pretty cozy. Food has always been good with a variety of local beers on tap and full bar.

Board the MAX Yellow Line to go south to Downtown, The Moda Center, Veterans Coliseum, Convention Center, the Rose Quarter Transit Center for connecting to all other MAX lines to reach most of Portland, including PDX International Airport. The entire park is a equally pleasant with large trees, wide curving walks, large open spaces, and a classic 1930's swimming pool cabana.

Arbor Lodge Park is also the home of Harper's Playground, an award-winning fully accessible playground for children of all abilities. The park is lovingly maintained in part by the Arbor Lodge Neighborhood Association as a pesticide-herbicide free park, one of only three in all or Portland.

Our favorite grocery store and hot/cold deli emphasizing organic foods with fresh meats and seafood, great produce, good local beer and wine and the best cheese selection in North Portland. If you use one of NoPo Studio's reusable shopping bags, besides saving 5 cents/bag, they'll reward you with 'beans'. You then drop your beans into jars for your favorite charity. New Seasons then contributes to the charity in proportion to the beans each charity earned throughout all their stores.
