This is the classic Cuban restaurant in Miami. The food is great and so are the mojitos. Save room for dessert. The bakery offers great pastries. Not within walking distance, but worth the drive.

If you are visiting South Beach, this is a great place for some Caribbean cuisine. This Haitian restaurant has excellent food & is a fun atmosphere to end your day at the beach.

This is my favorite beach. It's a 15 min drive through Key Biscayne. There are walking trails, a lighthouse, and 2 restaurants: Lighthouse Cafe on the beach & The Boathouse on the marina. Scenic!!

If there was one thing I would recommend to see in South Florida, it would definitely be the Everglades. Take a day-trip adventure on an Airboat and it will take your breath away. 40 min drive.
