Great pizza centered restaurant with many food offerings that go beyond pizza! It also has a great gluten-free and vegan options. Their artichoke dip is my all time favorite artichoke dip I've had and don't forget the also offer pizza by the slice! They also have AMAZING cheesecake made in house! They also have a great bar area with wonderful bartenders and drinks! Ask them for what is on special that day or being featured on tap!

They also have a bar you can drink/eat at and give you an ice cream cone after your meal! If you plan to go be prepared for a wait or make reservations--they open later in the day.
A family friendly bar and restaurant for all ages! Their turkey wild rice soup is delicious! If you go on Saturdays be ready for a full house for bar bingo that starts at noon! They also have a nice patio.

Maxwell's is one of my personal favorite spots in town. Great food (try the edamame or beef tips!) that never disappoints. If you're looking for a quaint space but great food, drinks and people--try here!

This is a long standing bar/restaurant always serving up good food including Minnesota's iconic wild rice soup and award winning chili! Great spot to hang out at anytime but also if you're in town for any kind of event in Minneapolis. Try a grape ape!

This restaurant has been using local and organic food to create amazing dishes before it was a mainstream thing to do--and they do it best! A great nature center with different paths to enjoy the beauty of nature in the city! A getaway in the the hubbub of it all! It is free to enter opening at sunrise and closes at sunset. A great place to take kids too and explore the informational center at the entrance!

This is my favorite lake to hang out at. There is a little playground for kiddos and a swimming spot. During the summer months Sandcastle is open to grab food and beverage. A rental place is also on sight that have canoes, kayaks, SUP, etc. The lake is small and does not allow motors on it.

An iconic beer brand and a beautiful facility! If you have time to hang out at a brewery and eat great food this place is it. All walks of life welcome here. My favorite beer there is Pentagram but be sure to try Furious IPA!

Your quintessential sports bar that is one of my favorite watering holes! Try the Joey wings!! If you want to catch a game--this is the place to do it at! They have two large projection TVs among their many others. If you're feeling adventurous try a citron bomb!
